Temovate Information
Uses
Temovate is a corticosteroid used to reduce itching,
redness, and swelling associated with many skin conditions.
How To Use
Follow the directions for using Temovate provided
by your doctor. TO USE TEMOVATE: apply a small
amount of medicine to the affected area. Gently rub
the medicine in until it is evenly distributed. Wash
your hands after applying Temovate, unless your
hands are part of treated area. DO NOT BANDAGE OR WRAP
the affected area unless directed otherwise by your
doctor. STORE TEMOVATE at room temperature, away
from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF TEMOVATE,
apply it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for
your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to
your regular dosing schedule.
Side Effects
CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience
itching, burning, redness, or swelling not present before
using Temovate. If you notice other effects not
listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
Precautions
IF YOUR SYMPTOMS DO NOT IMPROVE WITHIN A FEW DAYS, or
if they become worse, check with your doctor. DO NOT
USE TEMOVATE longer than the time prescribed. DO
NOT USE TEMOVATE for other skin conditions at a
later time. DO NOT GET TEMOVATE in your eyes. IF
TEMOVATE WAS PRESCRIBED TO TREAT THE DIAPER AREA
OF A CHILD, avoid using tight-fitting diapers or plastic
pants. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT,
discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using
Temovate during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF TEMOVATE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL
BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using Temovate,
check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the
risks to your baby.
Drug Interactions
Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects
or prevent a medicine from doing its job. Use our drug

Overdose
